Platteville Football was proudly represented on the statewide stage this past weekend as incoming freshmen Liam Anderson and Kemmerin Payne competed in the Wisconsin 8th Grade All-State Football Game at Carroll University in Waukesha.
Earlier this year, Anderson and Payne were selected to participate in the event after being nominated for their outstanding play and dedication during their middle school careers. The All-State experience brought together many of Wisconsin’s top incoming freshmen for three days of instruction, competition, and camaraderie.
Throughout the event, athletes worked with coaches from across the state during position-specific practices before showcasing their talents in Saturday’s All-State Game.
For both athletes, earning a spot in the event was a reflection of the commitment they have shown throughout their development. Their selection recognized not only their abilities on the football field, but also the work ethic and character they have demonstrated while representing the Platteville community.
Congratulations to Liam and Kemmerin on a tremendous accomplishment.
