Hillmen fall at La Crosse Aquinas

The Hillmen traveled to La Crosse on Tuesday night to take on the Aquinas Bluegolds. The Hillmen battled hard but fell in the end by a final of 70-81. Platteville’s leading scorer was Soraeya Stone with 17 points. Rianna Dye and Avery Richard each had 15 points. Rianna grabbed 11 rebounds while Avery dished out 8 assists. Kinley Bendorf reached double figures with 13 points and 3 three point baskets. Maggie Grabandt added 5, Mia Huser hit a 3, and Laylaa Schuler rounded out the scoring with 2 points. The Hillmen are now 15-4 on the season. Platteville is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Richland Center to take on the Hornets. The JV tips at 6:00pm with the varsity to follow. The Hillmen will also play at home this Saturday against Stoughton with the JV tipping at 1:00pm and the varsity to follow.
