JV Girls Beat Barneveld

On Saturday afternoon the Platteville JV girls basketball team traveled to Barneveld and walked away victorious 45 to 26. A great defensive effort held the Golden Eagles to thirteen points each half.

Maleah Temperly and Kinley Bendorf paced the balanced Hillmen attack by scoring ten points each. Anna Pennekamp tallied nine points, Lexy Popp had eight points, Lauren Dye added five points and Yaqyr Goomey scored three points. Although neither Zoey Engle nor Maya Heer scored, their play on both ends of the floor ensured the victory.

We have a busy week ahead as we travel to LaCrosse Aquinas on Tuesday, to Richland Center on Thursday and host Stoughton on Saturday afternoon. Good luck and Go Hillmen!
