JV girls play at New Glarus

Due to limited players for New Glarus, the Platteville JV girls basketball team played an 18-minute game on Saturday afternoon. We won the shortened game 23 to 22.

Kinley Bendorf scored nine points for the victors, followed by Anna Pennekamp with seven points. Other scorers included Yaqyr Goomey with three points, Lauren Dye with two points and Lexy Popp with two points. Maleah Temperly and Maya Heer did not score, but played very well and Zoey Engle was absent. The girls played with great effort as usual and have a record of 7 and 4 halfway through the season.

We are back in action as we travel to Prairie du Chien on Thursday for a varsity only contest. Go Hillmen!
