Reuter Reaches 1,000 as Hillmen Roll Past Prairie du Chien

Thursday night was one to remember for Platteville High School senior Myron Reuter, as he etched his name into Hillmen basketball history during a dominant 72–25 victory over Prairie du Chien.

Reuter reached the 1,000-point milestone for his high school career, becoming just the seventh player in the storied Hillmen boys basketball program to accomplish the feat. The achievement came in front of a home crowd as Platteville controlled the game from start to finish against the Hawks.

The senior’s milestone basket sparked a loud reaction from the Platteville faithful, teammates, and coaching staff alike, recognizing years of consistent scoring, hard work, and leadership. Reuter’s ability to score at all three levels has been a cornerstone of the Hillmen offense throughout his career, and Thursday’s accomplishment was a fitting reflection of his impact on the program.
