state cross country

On Saturday November 1st Evan DeBuhr ran in the Division 2 state cross country meet at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

Evan had a great start to the race. He got out fast and was in a good spot from the start. At mile 1, he was in 56th place. As the course gets more difficult in the second half Evan kept moving up. At mile 2, he was 51st place. Evan finished in 42nd place out of 150 runners with a time of 17:02. Evan ddid great for his first time racing at state. He’s a competitor and always leaves it out on the course.
