Hillmen Fall at Darlington 79-63 in Non-Conference Game

The Platteville Hillmen boys basketball team came up short on the road Tuesday night, falling to Darlington 79–63. Platteville struggled out of the gate as Darlington jumped out to an early 19–3 lead and carried a 46–22 advantage into halftime.

The Hillmen showed resilience in the second half, trimming the deficit to 14 points at 60–46, but were unable to get any closer down the stretch. Myron Reuter led Platteville with 25 points, while Braden Streight added 11. With the loss, Platteville moves to 5–6 overall and will return to action Thursday evening at home against the River Valley Blackhawks in SWC play, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m.
