The Platteville Girls’ Volleyball Team traveled to UW-Whitewater on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, and competed in the Warhawk Open. They played well, taking 5th Place out of 13 teams. In the first game, the Lady Hillmen played the Oregon Panthers and lost a tough match 2-1 (25-17, 25-27, 12-15). In their second game, they got back on the winning track against Kenosha Bradford, winning in two straight sets (25-14, 25-11). In the 3rd Game, they played Kenosha St. Joseph and won 2-1 (21-25, 25-11, 15-12). In their 4th and final game, they played Waterloo. They won 2-1 (24-26, 25-10, 15-12). The next game for the Girls’ Volleyball Team will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at home, marking the start of SWC Conference play against the River Valley Blackhawks. JV and JV2 action will begin at 5:30 pm with the Varsity playing at 7:00 pm.
