Hillmen Golf Take 3rd at Dodge Point Invite, Simmons gets a Hole in 1

The Platteville Golf team braved the elements at the Dodge Point Invitational at Dodge Point Country Club on Saturday. It was a cold and windy day but the Hillmen posted an impressive 327 team score. That score earned a 3rd place finish for the Hillmen, behind Benton/Cuba City/Southwestern – 322 and Dodgeville – 325. Cole Herbst and Hudson Weittenhiller led the way with a pair of 78’s. Glenn Mast posted an 85, Ty Simmons shot an 86, and Jauron Blevins’ 87 was dropped.

The highlight of the day was a hole in 1 by Sophomore, Ty Simmons on the 165 yard par three 15th hole! Congratulations Ty!
