The offense was quiet for the Hillmen as they were only able to come up with 2 hits on the night. Dodgevilleś pitcher kept the Hillmen lineup guessing on every pitch and was locked in on the mound. Senior Tyler Sasse and Junior Brody Digman each collected a hit for the Hillmen. The Hillmen did force the Dodgers to commit 2 errors on defense but also committed 2 errors themselves in the field. Senior Ace Evan Johnson toed the rubber for The Hillmen going 5 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits, 5 runs (2 earned) walking 2 and striking out 4. Johnson did his job on the mound as he always does for the Hillmen. He has been our ride or die guy in all of our big games and he handles very well. The Hillmen drop to 5-1 in SWC play and look to bounce back on Friday May 8th as they travel to Spring Green to take on the Blackhawks of River Valley. First Pitch set for 5:00 pm at River Valley High School. JV will be playing @ South Park in Spring Green @ 5:00 also. Go Hillmen!
