Platteville Hillmen Baseball secure win against Sauk Prairie 9-5

Platteville took down Sauk Prairie in a 9-5 battle on Monday. Sauk Prairie got on the board in the fourth inning on a fielders choice. Platteville would flip the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, soring eight runs on three hits to take the lead 8-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Senior catcher Tyler Sasse that drove in 2 runs. Senior Ace Evan Johnson earned the win for the Hillmen. He went 4 innings allowing 3 hits, five runs (4 earned), striking out 3 and walking 3. Senior Classmate Kingston Clayton came in for relief and threw 3 innings allowing zero hits, striking out 2, walking 1 and hitting 2 batters. Carson opgenorth, Alex Cullen, Tyler Sasse, Aiden Weigel, and Brycen Carl all collected a hit for the Hillmen Offense. Sasse and Carl each drove in 2 runs in the contest. The Hillmen will host the Dodgers of Dodgeville on Friday April 10th @ Legion park. Game time set for 5:00.
