In a tight back in forth game the Hillmen were able to pull away and seal the victory. The Hillmen did a great job on both ends of the floor. Playing through some tough stretches but digging deep and keeping their composer helped then pull out a victory. The boys played very well and the energy was definitely on our side the whole night even when the Cubans would try to make a run. The victorious Hillmen were led in scoring by Sophomore point guard Randyn Schumacher with 13. Schumacher also played with some foul trouble but was able to hold Cuba Cityś top scorer to only 1 point on the night. Hudson Weittenhiller poured in 10 while Cody Nodolf and Frankie Key both chipped in 7 apiece. The Hillmen shot 50% from the foul line going 6 of 12. The boys are back in action on Thursday February 12th as they travel to Dodgeville for a rematch of an SWC match up. Tip off set for 6:00 pm.
