The Platteville Hillmen came out on fire and set the tone early in the contest. The Hillmen jumped out to a commanding 43-16 half time lead. Platteville knocked down 6 3 point baskets in the first half and finished with 9 on the night. The Hillmen were led in scoring by freshman shooter Hudson Weittenhiller with 22 (20 in the first half), Randyn Schumacher was the only other Hillmen in double digits with 11. Junior Aiden Voigts had 8, while classmate Harper Schumacher chipped in 6, Freshman Jake Reuter put up 4 points in the second half, Cody Nodolf, Owen Hromadka, Keegan Weigel, and Corey Grabandt all added 3 each, Paxton Wehnke had 2 and Cole Wetter finished with 1 from the charity stripe. Frankie Key and Mason Berntgen were unable to put the ball in the hoop but contributed to the defensive side very well. The Hillmen are back in action on Monday February 16th as they travel to Richland Center for a make up game. Tip off set for 6:00 @ Richland Center High School.
